About Comvita

Comvita is first and foremost a manuka honey company but they also offer a variety of natural health products madhu lozenges And propolis extract per Natural toothpaste (oddly enough).

However, we will ignore their other products and focus only on their Manuka Honey range.

If you’ve been looking around for manuka honey, you probably know this all manuka honey is created equal. To make sure you are getting high-grade manuka honey, you want to look for manuka honey that is UMF-certified.

Comvita UMF 20+

As with all UMF-certified Manuka honey, Comvita’s Manuka honey does not have significant therapeutic value below a UMF 10+ grade. So, if you use Manuka honey medicinally, shoot for at least a UMF 10+ grade.

Pro

  • UMF Certified Manuka Honey
  • Easy to find
  • Wide range of grades
  • Traceable from Hive to Table

Cons

  • Not raw honey

Comvita UMF 20+ Manuka Honey

It’s the CommuterUltra Premium Manuka honey grade and the highest grade they offer.

It only comes in a 250g (8.8oz) jar, so if you’re looking for more than that, you’ll need to order more than one jar.

Comvita’s UMF 20+ manuka honey is priced higher than other manuka honey brands that also offer a UMF 20+ grade of manuka honey.

If you are looking for a UMF 20+ manuka honey, I would recommend saving some money and checking out another brand. excellent, which is rated our best over UMF 20+ honey.

Their UMF 20+ Manuka honey meets the same strict standards set by the UMFHA but is often significantly cheaper and is a raw honey too!

Comvita UMF 15+ Manuka Honey

Comvita labels their UMF 15+ honey as their super premium class.

Like their UMF 20+ honey, the size is limited as it only comes in a 250g honey container.

However, unlike their UMF 20+ honey, this grade is actually a great value (which is why it’s our runner-up for best overall manuka honey).

Comvita UMF 10+ Manuka Honey

Comvita’s UMF 10+ manuka is the lowest grade you’ll want to consider for medicinal use.

This Grade honey only comes in a 500g (1.1lb) container, so if you want a little, you’re out of luck.

Unless you’re super committed to Comvita, I’d recommend taking a look at the Equivalent grade of Manuka honey. It’s consistently a good value and it’s raw honey, which gives it stronger health benefits than Comvita’s non-raw honey.

Comvita UMF 5+ Manuka Honey

This is the lowest grade of Manuka honey that Comvita offers, and it comes in 500g and 1kg sizes.

This is a great choice if you’re looking for a nutrient-rich sweet for your tea or something to spread on your toast in the morning.

Wrapping Up

Comvita has been in the manuka honey business for a long time now and they are a solid choice if you are looking for genuine UMF certified honey.

A major drawback to their honey is that it’s not raw, which isn’t necessarily a deal-breaker but isn’t ideal either.

REWARDS PROGRAM

Comvita doesn’t offer a rewards program or subscription service like other manuka honey manufacturers do. However, they do offer some great sales.

If you’re looking for a good deal on manuka honey, search no more. Visit their online store for lots of buy-one-get-one-free deals and take advantage of their free shipping.
